Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Gza ("we") collects, why, and what your choices are.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), and — if you sign in with Google or Apple — the identifier those providers share with us.
• Profile data you choose to add: photo, bio, phone number, social handles (Telegram, Instagram, Facebook), and saved cars.
• Activity data: trips you post, join requests you send or receive, chat messages, ratings and reviews, blocks and reports.
• Device data: a push-notification token and basic device identifiers needed to deliver notifications.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we show no ads.

2. How we use it

Solely to operate the service: matching trips, delivering messages and notifications, showing your profile to other users, computing ratings, preventing abuse (blocks, reports, bans) and providing support. We do not sell your data.

3. What other users see

Your name, photo, bio, cars, ratings and posted trips are visible to other users. Contact details (phone, social handles) on a trip are revealed only to you and to users whose join request you accept.

4. Service providers

We use infrastructure providers to run the service — hosting and database, object storage for profile photos, an email delivery service for verification codes, and Apple's push notification service. They process data only on our behalf.

5. Retention

• Chat messages and join requests are automatically deleted about 24 hours after the trip's departure.
• Verification codes expire within minutes and are stored only as hashes.
• Everything else is kept until you delete it or delete your account.

6. Your rights

You can edit your profile in the app at any time, and delete your account (Settings → Delete account), which permanently removes your data as described above. For data questions or requests, contact us at the address below.

7. Children

Gza is not intended for users under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
